Haney is 6-3 with a lanky frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a taller open balanced athletic stance, two step stride on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path, strong at contact point with some extension through the ball, showed a pull approach with some power present that way and room to add more as he gets stronger, exit velocity was 92. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with above average hands, clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, long arm action, position velocity was 84. Ran a 7.40 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, longer loose quick arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are level and closed, lands closed with a fall off finish. Fastball was 81-82, with some downward plane and late boring action to armside. Curveball was 68-71 with good armspeed and gradual 11/5 break to it, has some shape and should tighten into a good pitch.
