6.27.17:  Thomas is 6-3 with a lanky projectable frame. Hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, smooth load back to a slight bar. Explosive lower half and good balance to his swing. Level line drive swing with some batspeed, good approach worked gap to gap, exit velocity was 88. At short, quick clean footwork, fields with a good base and soft hands. Quick clean exchange, plays through the ball, short loose arm action, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with some carry, infield velocity was 87. Ran a 4.39 home to first. On the mound, throws from a three-quarters arm slot. Longer loose arm action that is quick, some effort to his delivery. Shoulders uphill and slightly closed, lands open with an athletic finish. Fastball was 81-83, touching 84 with downward plane and a bit of late sink. Curveball was 72-73 with late 11/5 break and good armspeed.
2.11.17:  Thomas is 6-3 with a lanky frame, hits from the right side from a wide, balanced stance. Toe tap stride, smooth load back with slight wrap, some hip explosion and some balance to swing. Uphill path, line drive swing with extension through the ball, showed pull approach and some batspeed, exit velocity was 88. At short, good quick feet and soft hands, fields with good base. Quick clean exchange, works through ball, throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot, short quick arm action, position velocity of 82. Home to first was 4.14.

4.5.16:  Thomas has an athletic frame and throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a long, strong arm action. At the plate, he hits from the right side with a crouched stance, a short load back, and a toe tap stride. He has a decent lower half with above average bat speed. Thomas’ path is short to the ball with a line drive swing with gap power potential.
