RHP/SS Ben Mettler (Eau Claire North, 2025) Wiry, 6-foot-3, 160-pound frame, escaped a bases loaded and nobody out jam in the third inning en route to the Eau Claire A’s 3-2 win Friday night. The right-hander threw five innings of one run ball, while striking out three looking over the course of the outing. Showcased a ¾ arm slot, fast and twitchy delivery, upright finish, and loose arm action. Fastball sat from 80-82 mph, backed by a hard biting 2/8 curveball that was thrown for strikes at 66-69 mph. A strong performance from the uncommitted Mettler with room for further development.
