Lee is another pitcher that impressed at our Top Prospect-Milwaukee event. Standing at 6-foot-6 and 200-pounds, Lee moves well on the mound for his heighl. His fastball got up to 86 mph with late-life through the zone ad has more in the tank. He flashed a solid curveball with above average depth at 70-71 that played really well off of his fastball and got consistent swing and misses. During the game he pounded the zone and showed good feel for both his fastball and curveball.

6-foot-6, 195 pounds; long levers, plenty of room to add strength. Lee was impressive for a multitude of reasons on Saturday, one being that he’s clearly gotten considerably better and gained a greater feel to pitch since he took the mound last March for us. Fastball sat 84-85 mph the first time through the order, settled more into a 81-82 range later, but remained effective throughout as he pounded the zone with it. Frequently opted to use the changeup as the go-to offspeed, a firm 72-75 mph offering with sink/run earned soft contact on the ground. Also showed a loopy 67-69 mph curveball that projects well as he refines it, but the feel to spin it is there. The Amherst-area prospect allowed just one hit in 5.1 innings, with three walks, and four Ks.

Positional Profile: RHP; A raw, upside arm trending up after a big performance here. Body: 6-foot-4, 190-pounds. Big and lanky frame. Delivery: Regular to easy effort. Slight uphill shoulders. Good control. SL: 70-72 mph. Gradual, sweeping slider. Good control. CH: 71-73 mph. Slight arm side run, thrown at near FB arm speed.
Hit: RHH. Open stance, arm bar load, stride gets back to even. Path is long and level. Power: 90 mph exit velocity from the tee. Arm: RH. INF - 83 mph. Long arm action from over the top slot. Defense: Provides large target area around the bag, gangly actions, showed feel for the bag. Run: 7.83 runner in the 60.
