Rock Valley JC commit. Former Future Games participant. Currently ranked No. 25 in the state’s senior class. 6-foot, 182-pound, athletic frame. Batted third in the lineup and played left for New Berlin Eisenhower. Johns put together a loud showing at the plate, sending two no-doubt home runs over the wall in center field, driving in four of the team's five runs. He displayed quick-twitch actions with the ability to drive the ball for power to all fields, showing strong hands and consistent barrel feel. Johns finished a perfect 2-for-2 with 2 runs scored, four RBI, and a sacrifice fly.

Johns highlighted his week with a two-home run game at the Prep Baseball Classic at The Rock. He also recorded three stolen bases. On the mound against Pewaukee, he pitched three innings and allowed no runs, on six hits and one walk, while striking out five.

INF/RHP Caleb Johns (New Berlin Eisenhower), a 2026 committed to Rock Valley, has made big all-around strides since our last look. Ticked up frame looking like a trim/leaner this winter standing at 6-foot, 182-pounds with room to pack on additional strength and physicality. One of the top rounds of batting practice our staff has seen on the winter circuit. Syncing up a loose and fluid left-handed swing while showing feel to drive the ball to all fields throughout the round reaching a 104.4 mph max exit velocity with a 99.1 mph average to pair with a 100% hard-hit rate. Looked like a natural defender in the dirt that is capable of playing the left-side of the infield long term, accurate arm up to 87 mph from the dirt to pair. Equally as impressive on the mound, the right-hander sat 90-91 mph throughout the ‘pen with feel for to spin a firm breaking ball flashing sharp two-plane action.

Uncommitted, currently ranked no. 31 in Wisconsin’s 2026 class. Displaying a well-proportioned 6-foot-1, 205-pound frame with some strength present, Johns had a dominant performance on the mound on Thursday in a 4-3 win. The right-hander operated out of a controlled, up-tempo delivery, utilizing a high leg lift with a coil, landing in-line with a loose ¾ arm action. He was able to consistently miss barrels throughout the game, showing a heavy fastball at 85-88 mph, and a sharp 11/5 curveball at 74-76 mph that flashed out-pitch potential. Final Line: 5.0 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 6 K. An uncommitted two-way to keep an eye on.

Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 31 in the state’s junior class, listed at a strong 6-foot-1, 205 pound frame. Hit leadoff and started on the mound. At the plate, the right-hander went 2-for-3 with a walk. The first hit was a leadoff home run in the first inning on a 2-2 count, followed by an RBI single to center field in the second. He shows a compact, balanced stance at the plate with a heavy barrel through the zone. Johns also started on the mound, where he threw a fastball at 84–86 mph, complemented by a 73–74 mph curveball.

+ RHP/3B Caleb Johns (New Berlin Eisenhower, 2026) was one of the biggest winners on the day. He started his day by running a solid 7.13 seconds 60 yard dash. He then put together one of the best rounds of batting practice on the day from his compact and balanced left-handed swing. His 103 mph max exit velocity was the hardest hit ball of the day and his 93.7 average exit velocity was good for 3rd best among a group of nearly 150 participants. In the infield, Johns showcased soft hands with an accurate arm up to 86 mph. The right-handed two-way prospect also opened some eyes with what he was able to do on the mound. Johns uses a simple and repeatable delivery and was 87-88 mph with the fastball from a 3/4 arm slot. He was able to land the two-plane breaking curveball for strikes at 76-77 mph. He rounded out his arsenal with a 79-81 mph change up that he displayed feel to land. Caleb Johns is poised for a monster junior season at New Berlin Eisenhower and our staff has taken notice.

Possessing a strong and athletic 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame, Caleb Johns got the win on the mound for Hitters Navy. Johnson threw four innings only giving up one earned run and two hits. Mechanically, the righty displays a smooth and easy delivery with a high leg kick and low 3/4 arm slot. Johns consistently threw a running 80-85 mph fastball the whole game touching 86 mph. He pounded the outside and inside corners on batters which jammed them creating weak contact.

Sturdy 6-foot-1, 180 pounds with a strong lower half. Impressed with the bat on Saturday. From the left side, Johns sets up with rhythm before utilizing a simple leg lift to deliver that barrel with quick hands. He showed some pop to the opposite field, as he smacked a deep double to the wall that brought home two runs in New Berlin Eisenhower’s win. Throughout their two games of the day, he showed a quality approach as he worked deep into the count in a majority of his at-bats. Despite being an underclassmen, he was one of the vocal leaders on this team, and he exudes confidence while on the diamond, something that is certainly noteworthy.

Johns is listed at a long and projectable 6-foot, 165 pounds. Johns continually shows out well to our staff every viewing in tournament play and also did so at the Junior Future Games this past summer. Johns has a knack for the barrel with a short, under-control-swing who can hit for both average and for power. He can hit the ball to all fields and does an impressive job of controlling the strike zone. Johns is a defensive asset at third base with easy actions and a low pulse when the game is on the line. On the mound, Johns has a fastball clocked close to 80 mph and the ability to land multiple secondaires for strikes. His body and the loose delivery project for more velocity in the near future and have Johns as an exciting two-way prospect in the Badger States talented ‘26 class.

Johns is a 6-foot-0, 165-pound two-way player coming from the Hitters 14U team. Features both a strong arm and bat during the showcase on Wednesday. Reached 81 mph from the infield, exceeding his previous high of 79 mph from this spring at the South Milwaukee Rising Stars ID. At the plate, Johns has a long load and displayed the ability to find the barrel, as he had a max exit velocity of 91 mph. Athlete that should get some time on the bump for Team Wisconsin later this week, as he was up to 78 in the spring. 

Johns was one of the more impressive two-ways in attendance. Beginning his day with a 7.68 60 yard dash, and offering a dynamic look on both sides of the ball. At the plate, Johns worked out of a tall setup with a controlled toe tap. Entering to the inside half of the baseball, and drilling balls to the pull side of the field with authority (92mph). And showing feel for barrel controlling grooving low liners to the backside when the pitch didn’t match his power. Very mature skills for the youngster. Worth noting that Johns was 79mph across the infield before hopping to the mound, and generating one of the day's best pitching performances. His arsenal consists of a fastball with 20 inches of horizontal action, a 2200 RPM curveball, and a changeup with 20 inches of horizontal break as well.
