Fr. 1B Carter Schwingle (Franklin) came away a winner from the event, starting his day running a 6.81 60-yard, and following it up by taking the loudest round of batting practice on the day, achieving the highest exit velocity of the event at 105.3 mph and averaging 96.3 mph. With a whippy barrel and 73.1 mph average bat speed, Schwingle left the yard multiple times throughout the round and looks to make an immediate impact as a freshman.
