9/23/18 - 5-foot-9, 155-pound, right-handed hitting/throwing outfielder, athletic frame. At the plate, balanced setup, back load, short stride, keeps it simple. Loose hands, level, compact bat path, contact hitter type, flashed line drive ability to the middle of the diamond, repeated rhythm. Exit velocity topped 85 mph from a tee. Able runner, 7.14 60 yard-dash, laser timed. Defensively, feet work in rhythm and through the ball, long crow hop to release. Steady hands, short arm action, high ¾ slot, throws topped 70 mph from the outfield.
2/21/16 - 5-foot-9, 140-pound right-handed hitting C/OF. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a short stride and average balance. Line drive hitter works gap to gap with a flat, level path thru the zone with looseness in the hands. Showed strength thru contact with 83 mph exit velocity from a tee. Solid runner in the 60 at 7.03. Defensively took drills in the outfield and behind the plate. In the outfield plays thru the ball with ok footwork. Short arm action from an over the top slot, high front side on throws. Threw 76 mph from the outfield. Behind the plate has a short arm action from an over the top slot, slow clean exchange. Popped 2.22-2.36 and threw 69 mph from the crouch.
6.24.15 - 5-foot-9, 140-pound catcher/outfielder. Offensively hits from right side with a balanced and tall setup, loads back, short stride, and good balance. Showed average bat speed, short and level path, and is line drive gap-to-gap type. Exit velo 79 mph. Defensively the right hander has short arm action from over-the-top, accurate, average hands, and average strength. Threw 74 mph from outfield and 67 mph from behind the plate. Pop times ranged from 2.28-2.33. Ran 7.38 60.
5.7.14 5-foot-5, 127-pound multi-positional athlete, well defined frame with advanced strength for his age. At the plate hits from an even stance with short stride, maintains balance through contact. Short, fluid, line drive swing, easy rhythm, covers the entire plate. Showed ability to drive balls gap-to-gap with above average bat speed. Exit velocity was 74 mph off a tee. Behind the plate his arm works short, from over the top at 60 mph. Showed sound catch and release actions for his age. Pop times were 2.47-2.50. In the outfield, showed quality footwork and strong direction to and through the ball. Arm works short and over the top, 69 mph with some accuracy and carry. Ran a 7.51 60.
