Maude, a catcher/infielder listed at 6-foot-3, 190-pounds, is a 2022 grad to watch closely going forward. In the infield, the actions are fluid; he’ll make the routine plays, and let’s off throws up to 83. Behind the plate, he was 2.12-2.18 in catcher pops and got off throws up to 76. He has the makings to develop into a good catcher at the next level. At the plate, it’s a simple swing, he gets on plane and doesn’t try to do too much. There’s some current strength, and he puts together quality swings and is able to drive the ball to both sides of the fields.
