Short stride back to even with a smooth load. Short, uphill swing path with a fast bat. Consistent hard contact in batting practice and showed strength thru contact with 95 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.15. Defensively plays fast with quick, fluid footwork. Plays thru the ball with athletic actions, clean transfer with soft hands. Has a loose arm action from a high 3/4 slot. Accurate throws with carry throwing 85 mph across the infield.
9/22/18: Sophomore infielder with strong sturdy build, 5-foot-11, 190-pound. Projects more at 2B/3B but shows abilities at SS as well, hands played quick and showed ability to make all the plays. Athletic arm action that can play on the move and turn double plays to six hole. Quick transfer and showed carry. Right-handed hitter, sneaky strong offensively, compact build and swing with strong hands, barrel aware, ball jumped off the bat at times, gap to gap approach. Led the team in doubles (13) and RBI (55) as freshman, slugging .544 with a .335 BA.
