Hit: LHH. Athletic base, medium stride, fluid load, gets the foot down early and adjusts. Uphill path, mostly pull-side, creates lift at times. 65.9 mph bat speed with 14 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 94 max exit velocity, averaged 88.2 mph. 366' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-77 mph. Short, compact arm action, over the top.

+ C/RHP Thomas Check (La Crosse Logan, 2028) is a left-handed hitting backstop with present skill and athleticism with more coming in the future. Check started off his day by running the 3rd best 60 yard dash time among the 2028 group at 7.00 seconds and the 13th best overall. With the bat, Check made consistent barrel contact with his flat swing producing line drives throughout his round and showcased the ability to go to all fields with his balanced approach. Behind the plate, Check has natural feel and a leadership presence with soft hands and a strong arm to throw runners out trying to steal. His 1.95 seconds pop time was 5th best among a strong group of catcher in attendance. Check further solidified himself as a name to know in the state for the class of 2028.

Check, a strong, athletic 5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect, impressed in his first game of the tournament. He showcased a quality approach at the plate including excellent plate discipline, drawing a pair of walks. Check also showed a strong lefty swing that is short and compact to the ball. Behind the plate, he worked well showing his athleticism by working from various stances, followed by soft hands when receiving and a strong arm. Although no one was thrown out the arm strength and accuracy were on show. Check is primed for an excellent season at the top of this lineup and behind the plate.

Body: 5-10, 170-pounds.
Hit: LHH. Open, narrow stance, gets into his backside, works back to even. Level path, short and direct, up-the-middle approach, some pop to pull side.
Power: 86 max exit velocity, averaged 80.5 mph. 308' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-78 mph. Short arc, quick arm, accurate, repeats.
Defense: 2.03-2.15 pop times. Clean exchange, quick exchange, short and quick right foot with direction to second base, athletic on blocks and covering bunts.
ATH: 7.30 runner in the 60.
