Initiates swing from slightly open set up utilizing heel raise with no stride. Weight shift remains limited. However, Morris does a good job of rotating away from hands in achieving separation. Head is still. There is good balance and leverage to swing with ability to stay behind baseball. Hands are extremely quick and there was an excellent feel for barrel with Morris able to consistently square ball in bp. A bat exit velocity of 92 mph was achieved with more left correlative to mechanical adjustments. Potential exists for development into power and average bat at next level.
Defensively, Morris flashed soft, confident and quick glove hand in playing ball bottom up and out front. He showed consistent commitment to creating optimal angles and hops by aggressively attacking the baseball. Transfer is clean and quick with arm strength of 82 mph across the infield. Overall, Morris has the makings of a superior next level defender with size and multitool skill set lending to considerable position versatility.

He recorded a bat exit velocity of 88 mph and ran 7.00 sixty. He may benefit from widening out slightly and incorporating longer stride to achieve greater separation.
Defensively, shows ability to create good angles and hops. Demonstrates good range, soft hands and a clean, quick transfer/throwing motion. Consistent with height there is some tendency to play upright.
