8/9/15 McNeel continues make strides on the mound. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound right-hander sat 84-85 from a high 3/4 arm slot with more yet in the tank. McNeel also commanded a 71 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation, a 79 mph changeup and a 77 mph slider. The slider has a chance to be a solid out pitch at the next level. McNeel worked three innings registering six strikeouts.

8/10/14 McNeel sat 81-83 from a high 3/4 arm slot while yielding one run in three innings of work. The 6-foot-4, 185-pound junior has a projectable frame and commanded a 68 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation. McNeel yielded two hits while striking out three. The right-handed hitter barreled the baseball routinely from a square stance with a toe tap stride during his round of batting practice. McNeel went 0-for-2 at the plate and registered a bat exit velocity of 81 mph.
