Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Mizuno Player and Pitcher of the Week for that particular week. Numerous players across the state continue to put up impressive numbers both as position players and pitchers on the mound. This year we will be selecting one Pitcher of the Week and one Player of the Week based on nominations from high school coaches across the state. Special "thank you" to Mizuno for sponsoring both awards this season.

Fleming Hall RHP / SS / Trinity Presbyterian, AL / 2025Fleming Hall has been named the Mizuno Player of the Week after an exceptional stretch at the plate, going 10-for-14 (.714) with five doubles, a triple, two home runs, 12 RBIs, six runs scored, and two stolen bases. An Auburn recruit and a top-10 prospect in Alabama’s 2025 class, Hall’s standout performance helped lead Trinity Presbyterian to a 4-0 record and propel them back into the Top-10 Polls in Class 4A this week. |

Tyler Pierce has been named the Mizuno Pitcher of the Week after an incredible performance on the mound, striking out 10 over five innings without allowing a hit or a walk in a perfect game. A talented multi-sport athlete committed to West Alabama for football, Pierce has been on a dominant stretch, following up a previous week where he went eight innings, earning a complete-game win while giving up just one hit, no earned runs, and two walks with 16 strikeouts. |
