Today, we roll right along to highlight 16 uncommitted catchers. Keep reading below for reports and video from each prospect's last appearance at LakePoint.

Jake Dallas, C, Farragut (TN), 2021
9/21/19 - 6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitting catcher, strong, muscular frame, durable build. Open setup with high hands, loads back smoothly with hands dropping into an athletic position, short leg kick timing trigger, remains balanced throughout, smooth rhythm. Gap-to-gap type hitter with present pull-side pop, uses the whole field. Sees the ball well and attacks the first pitch he likes, good hand-eye coordination. Offensively had an extremely impressive game against a loaded Team eXposure roster. Facing upper 80s fastballs, some touching 90, had no problem adjusting and hammering the baseball. Started his day off by pulling an 88 mph fastball into the left center gap for a double. Followed that up by fighting off an outside pitch through the right-side of the infield. One of the top bats in attendance at the PBR Cup.

Braden Bottoms, C/RHP, Warren County (TN), 2021
9/8/19 - 6-foot-1, 250 pounds. Plays the game with strength on both sides of the ball. At the plate, backspun plenty of balls with strong hands and wrists. Uses middle of field / pullside predominantly. Had a 3-run home run to left-center in Championship Game. Showed arm strength defensively by catching multiple runners stealing. Also got up to 86 on the mound with 3 strikeouts in 1.1 IP, out of bullpen.

Emery Wright, C, Knoxville Catholic, 2021
9/28/19 - 5-foot-11, 175 pounds with a strong lower-half build. Impressive on both sides of the ball. Defensively, has solid receiving skills. Quick feet that move well towards target. Also showed good arm strength by throwing a runner out on a high and out pitch; 2.09 pop, in game with 1.98-2.03 in between innings. At the plate, hits from slightly-open stance. Low hands that creep up to position during load. Active lower half with fast hips and hands, that work in unison. Very level bat path that produces hard line drives.

Brett Blomquist, C/RHP, Allatoona (GA), 2021
10/20/19 - 6-foot-2, 171-pound catcher and right-handed pitcher, long, narrow frame, athletically built, wiry strength, room to add lean strength. Offensively, balanced setup, starts with weight displaced on back-side, hands load back smoothly, short stride, great balance through contact. Gap-to-gap type hitter, quick hands whip barrel through the zone in a slightly uphill path, uses his long levers to gain extension, creates leverage, had some of the hardest hit balls of the weekend. Defensively, is solid behind the plate, moves quick laterally, keeps the ball in front when block, flexible hips and ankles, creates a compact target, arm works short and loose.

Garrett Clapsaddle, C/OF, Christ School (NC), 2021
10/19/19 - 6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher and outfielder, athletic frame with strength throughout, plenty of room for additional physicality. Offensively, balanced setup, smooth rhythm in his hands as they load back, short stride, stays balanced through contact. Gap-to-gap type hitter, can drive the ball to all fields, witnessed staying back on pitches and driving to the opposite field for extra base hits in addition to getting the barrel out and pulling balls deep into the outfield. High IQ at the plate, good feel for the zone.
