It is tournament time in Colorado and all classifications will be underway this weekend with District and State Tournament play.  Beginning our look at Post Season play is the 1A classification.  8 Teams will square off this weekend at All-City field and All-Star Park.  It looks to be a three-team race for the championship, which will be decided on May 14th.

Community Christian Crusaders

Holly Wildcats

Enter this weekend with a 10-4 record and have moved up and down the Prep Baseball Report Colorado team rankings all year.  As a team, they are hoping their offense will carry them through to the championship.  The Wildcats hit .395 as a team with 166 hits and 67 stolen bases.  Senior Mason Pierce will shoulder the responsibility for sparking the offense; over the course of the regular season he hit .556 with 25 hits and 13 RBI.

Flemming Wildcats
Are riding a 2 game winning streak coming into the tournament and sport a 8-4-1 record overall.  As a team, they will rely on speed to go deep into the weekend and beyond.  They have swiped 92 bases this year to go along with a .349 average.  Sophomore Jaxon King who has a .538 average with 21 hits and 25 RBI will need to have a big weekend for the Wildcats to advance.
