The Colorado high school season is nearing quickly, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we'll publish our team previews ahead of the 2023 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

OUTLOOK:
This is an Eagles’ squad returning eight starters from last year’s team that made it to the sweet 16 in 5A state playoffs. The Heritage program is under a newer coach in Jordan Johnson who believes this team’s strengths will be their senior leadership, pitching, and defense. Heritage does have five seniors committed to playing college baseball after this spring, so their overall experience and talent could be on display early and often in 2023. The Continental League is stacked this year, but don’t be surprised if Heritage makes some noise in 5A baseball this season.
