2023 CHSAA Season Preview: Ignacio HS

The Colorado high school season is nearing quickly, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day, we'll publish our team previews ahead of the 2023 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

The Ignacio Bobcats reside in the San Juan League and they play under CHSAA’s 2A classification. This squad had a 15-8 season in 2022 and they are looking to make a deep run this year. Coach Duke Baker is excited about having all of his returning players, as well as some freshman he hopes to use. The Bobcats are hoping to lean on their strong defense and starters on the mound being able to pitch deep into games to be successful in 2023.
