Colorado Fall Baseball Roundup

During the fall once a week we will be highlighting players, events, and programs on some of the successes they are having during the fall. Below are a few happenings that happened last week in Colorado. Please email [email protected] to update us on what's going on this fall.

No. 11 2017 RHP Liam Eddy of Brighton high school and 17U Team Colorado Schmunk is tearing up the fall. Friday Eddy threw a 7 inning no-hitter for Team Colorado winning 5-0 against Slammers Zavaras 18U in the Slammers Baseball Labor Day tournament. Eddy has been moving up the ranks in the state recently moving from 32 to 11. Eddy is 6-foot-3, 175 pounds and brings a fastball now consistently in the upper 80's touching 90 at times. Eddy is getting looks from Wichita State, Nebraska.

No. 20 2016 C Tyson Zanski of Grand Junction high school was a force at the plate Friday night going 3-4 with a double, 3 run HR and a Grand Slam. His 7 RBI helped the Colorado Rockies Scout team beat Team Colorado 11-7.

No. 26 overall 2018 RHP/OF Tanner O'Tremba, 2017 C Andrew Chavez, 2016 RHP Carter Van Gytenbeek, and 2016 RHP/SS Dylan Lutz all had impressive weekends helping Cherry Creek's fall team go 3-0 in the UNC fall tournament. Carter Van Gytenbeek got the win against Dallas North Texas and O'Tremba, Chavez, and Lutz all had impressive weekends defensively and offensively.

2017 SS Daylon Jones of Overland High School was 5 for 6 (2) doubles last week for UA Prime

Uncommitted 2016 LHP Kendrick Catron (Columbine High School) and  RHP Tanner Johnson (Chatfield High School) are a combined 5-0 for Khaos 18U this fall. Tanner Johnson is 2-0 so far with 0 runs allowed, 1 hit allowed and 10 strikeouts in 8 innings, and Catron recently improved to 3-0. Before Catron's last start he had only allowed 2 unearned runs in 8 innings. We have had Tanner Johnson as high as 90 mph from the outfield and mid 80's on the mound, and Catron lives in the low 80's on the bump. Both are 6-foot-1.
