6-foot, 175 pounds. Bats and throws right. Has a tall narrow, opened stance. Closes down on stride. Soft load. Line drive power up the middle. Bat patch short to the ball and through. Produced a 83 mph exit velocity off the tee. If lower half gets more involved it will increase. Behind the dish has soft hands receiving. Fundamental on blocking skills. On throw downs has quick glove to hand exchange from high 3/4 arm slot. Pop times off coach were 2.0 to 2.04 with a 75 mph arm velocity. Ran a 4.6 home to first.

8-6-16

6-foot-0, 175-pound right hand hitting catcher/third base who ran a 7.6 60 time.  At the plate he starts with an open stance. Quieted down leg kick from last time we saw him. Now strides out with soft stride for timing.  Good lower leg drive through the swing produced an 83 MPH exit velocity. Strong kid. Behind the plate he sets up low in the zone and has good hands while receiving. Improved his pop time to 2.0 off the coach and there is room to improve because arm action is a tad long for a catcher.  His arm was 75 MPH with some accuracy.

1.31.16

6-foot-0, 170-pound right hand hitting catcher/third base who ran a 4.41 home to first.  At the plate he starts with an open stance and high leg kick brings him square.  Good lower leg drive through the swing produced an 82 MPH exit velocity.  Behind the plate he sets up low in the zone and has good hands while receiving.  He comes through the plate on throw downs and had a pop-time of 2.17.  His arm was 74 MPH with some accuracy.

6-23-15

5-foot-11, 170-pound, sophomore uses an open stance with high leg kick to produce a 74 mph exit velocity.  Behind the plate he received the ball well and has a quite lower half.  His pop-times were 2.34 – 2.36 with an arm velocity of 65 mph.  On the mound he throws from the same arm slot as behind the plate.  His fastball was 66-68 mph with good command of the outer half.  He rounds out his pitches with a 57 mph curve and 61-63 mph change.
