Scouting Report

05/20/18- Uncommitted, stands at 5-foot-11, 160 pounds. Defensively, he continued to show rhythm and above average hands defensively. He has some present athleticism, may end up playing better at second, but should be an average to above average defender at the next level. Offensively, he continues to improve and add strength. While he wil need to get stronger, he has present bat to ball skills and shows ability to stay on the barrel, which translated to a single in the game. There are present tools and with added strength, should continue to improve.

09/30/17- 5-foot-11, 155 pound middle infielder continues to show a lot of potential. Defensively, he moves really well. There is a quality first step and shows plenty of range. He works with rhythm to and through the ball with a lot of trust in his hands, which work very well. Offensively, he has consistently shown above average bat to ball skills. He has no load and creates little separation, but has quick hands and finds the barrel. He will see big benefits if he can get some separation in the load. He had a single in the game, but more impressively stole our bases and shows above average base running ability. There is a lot to like and has a lot of room to grow and become stronger.

08/06/17- The 5-foot-11, 155-pound middle infielder may be a 2019, but he looks extremely young. He is an average runner, but uses a quick first step, and ability to use efficient angles to create above average range in the infield. He projects as an above average defender and should have enough arm strength to stay at short. Offensively, he has an upright setup and although does not have much separation, he creates a short, level swing through the zone. He is one of two players have a hit in all three games and consistently find the barrel. As he continues to mature and become stronger, the defense will continue to play at a high level and the bat-to-ball skills should translate into an above average hit tool. Overall, he will have a chance to make some big jumps in the future.

06/24/17- Actions really work at short. Athletic, rangy with a chance to be a plus defender. Swing has some length with bat speed.
