OUTLOOK

Barron Collier comes into 2021 with a team full of experience including 6 committed Seniors. On the mound they return LHP Jacob Marlowe (FGCU) who led the team in innings last year while striking out 22 batters. They also return RHP Reid Sondermeyer (Mars Hill) who pitched to a 0.75 ERA with 9 strikeouts last year. Offensively, they return several of their top hitters in SS Marcus O’Malley (VCU), OF Van Freischmidt (FGCU), C Noah White (FGCU), and C/OF Easton LaPlaca (High Point). The Cougars should be able to use their experience to their advantage in 2021.
