Body: 5-foot-9, 170-pounds. Has a thin, athletic build.
Defense: Fields off center of body, presenting glove late with a two handed gather, strong actions with fluid footwork.
Arm: RH. INF - 85 mph. Has a short, quick 3/4 arm slot.
Hit: LHH. Starts with slightly open, wide athletic setup. Smooth leg lift into a short stride, with no hand load. Swings a level bat path, with extension through swing.
Power: 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. Dead pull all around contact approach, squaring up baseballs, with above average bat speed.
Run: 7.16 runner in the 60. Runs with high, choppy, aggressive strides.
At 5-foot-10, 150 pounds, he has a slender, athletic and projectable frame. Showing ability to compete with skills now and will mature physically soon, should see a big jump when that happens. Defensively, he is an above average, athletic defender. There is a feel for the position with functional athleticism and soft hands. Quick first step and projects to stick at short. Offensively, he has a high-hand finish and can elevate the baseball. The setup is simple and balance. There is present bat speed and bat to ball skills with more power to come with maturity. Plays the game with a swagger. Very high ceiling in the future.
Uncommitted. Athletic frame standing at 5-foot-10, 150 pounds. Still young and room to grow. Stood out defensively in the middle infield and showed a confident approach fielding the ball with accurate throws to the bag. Confident approach at the plate from the left side and made consistent, hard contact during batting practice. This translated to the cage when he registered an 80 mph exit velocity off a tee. Heads up player and gets good jumps on the basepaths. Stole a couple of bases during gameplay. Young, athletic player who shows an above average feel for the game.
