Our first biggest riser in the Class of 2021 making his debut on these rankings is RHP Tyler Dietz (Calvary Christian, USF). Dietz debuts on the 2021 rankings all the way up at #6. The 6-foot-2, 180 pound right hander impressed this summer at the Florida State Games and South Summer Championships for Florida Burn 2021 Platinum. Dietz has shown strong command of all his pitches with his fastball sitting 88-90 mph and a slider at 82-83. Definitely a name to watch out for in the 2021 class.
Our second biggest riser who makes the jump from #108 to #13 in our updated rankings is 3B Tommy White (Calvary Christian, NC State). White has also impressed this summer at the Florida State Games and South Summer Championships for Florida Burn 2021 Platinum. He is a big, physical third baseman at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds. White moves athletically at third and has an above-average arm. Offensively, he has great barrel awareness and raw gap-to-gap power.
The third biggest riser in the Class of 2021 is RHP Cameron Clines (Park Vista, Uncommitted). He makes the jump from #162 to #28. Clines impressed this summer at the Florida State Games and earned himself an invite to the 2019 Future Games. He has an athletic, 6-foot-2, 192 pound frame. He has a compact delivery and good command of his pitches. His fastball sits in the mid to high 80's and has a slider with above-average break that sits 74-77. Clines remains the top uncommitted pitcher in his class in the state.
Our fourth biggest riser in the 2021 class is RHP Fisher Jameson (Park Vista, Uncommitted). Jameson, like Clines, has impressed on the mound this year for Park Vista and the FTB Rockets. He makes the jump from #139 up to #38. Jameson has a large, 6-foot-4, 195 pound frame. His fastball sits 85-87 mph and he has a changeup with good fade at 79-82. He will be representing Team Florida at the 2019 Future Games.
The fifth biggest riser in the 2021 class is 3B/1B Cole Russo (Jesuit, Uncommitted). Russo jumps up to #42 in our newest rankings, all the way up from #148. He helped lead Jesuit to the 6A State Championship this year. He has a stocky, 6-foot-1, 205 pound frame. Russo is disciplined at the plate and makes consistent hard contact. He looks to drive the ball into the gaps. Russo will represent Team Florida at the 2019 Future Games.
