On June 7th the PBR Florida Underclass Games will take place at the University of South Florida which will feature some of the top prospects from the 2019-2021 classes from throughout the state. Leading up to the event, we will highlight some of the prospects who will be in attendance through reports and video. Today we take a look at 2020 C/OF Danny Neri of Bishop Snyder HS, FL.

01/21/17- Lanky 5-foot-10, 150 pounds, looks taller. Left handed hitting catcher. Pop times were 2.13-2.15 with a velocity of 76 mph. 81 mph on the exit velocity. Simple swing, good bat path. Found consistent barrel in batting practice. Also translated to the game with a nice opposite field single in game shooting a line drive into the left field gap. Very projectable and bat will continue to improve will added strength as the path works. |
