Future Games Spotlight: 1B William Hagen

The 2019 PBR Future Games took place July 31-August 3 at LakePoint in Cartersville, GA. The event was filled with the top uncommitted 2021 and 2022 players in the country. The players participated in a pro-style workout and three games in front of all the PBR staff and over 300 college coaches. This week and next, we will be spotlighting each of the 25 players from Team Florida at the Future Games. Next up is 2021 1B William Hagen (Eau Gallie).

Scouting Report
Stocky frame with a solid offensive profile. Quiet head and approach in the box. Has a good feel for hitting with above average pop potential. Stays inside the baseball well, uses leverage in lower half to drive the ball to all fields. Pulled an inside fastball sharply down the LF line in-game, pulling his hands in and adjusting to the location nicely. Some defensive potential at 1B with present arm strength at 80-81. Movements are fluid and athletic on both sides of the ball. Exit velocity of 93 mph, has the chance to get stronger.
