Future Games Spotlight: 3B Brett Blair

The 2019 PBR Future Games took place July 31-August 3 at LakePoint in Cartersville, GA. The event was filled with the top uncommitted 2021 and 2022 players in the country. The players participated in a pro-style workout and three games in front of all the PBR staff and over 300 college coaches. This week and next, we will be spotlighting each of the 25 players from Team Florida at the Future Games. Next up is 2021 3B Brett Blair (Buchholz).

Scouting Report

Another one of our big-bodied corner infielders, Blair has a quick, physical bat with well above average pop. 6.87 runner, moves well and has above average athleticism for his big frame. When he barrels up, it goes. Contact and barrel ability is average, but has the chance to come along and make his power play more. Has the tendency to get a little stiff and long. Defensively, he has quick, fluid actions and displayed good body control on the backhand and slow roller. Strong, smooth arm was 79-81 across the infield. 92 exit velocity.
