Litsch's Lookback: Week 4
March 17, 2021
Litsch’s Lookback is a weekly segment that takes a look back at the standouts from that week around the state of Florida. The entire PBR Florida staff and myself will be out for coverage at High School, JUCO, and NCAA baseball games each week. We will highlight the biggest standouts from the games we saw that week.
This past week we had high school and JUCO coverage around the state. From Jacksonville to Gainesville to Clearwater to Tallahassee to Miami, the PBR Florida staff had it covered. Take a look at the players who stood out to myself and the rest of our staff this past week.
Jesse Litsch
2022 Jackson Ferris, LHP, IMG Academy
Ferris, the University of Mississippi commit continues to show why he is one of the best arms in the 2022 class. He had a dominant performance against one of the better teams in the state. Showing a plus fastball mixed with a swing and miss curveball and an above average changeup. Shows very repeatable mechanics with the ability to throw all pitches to both sides of the plate.

The 6-foot-3 strong framed Carter shows why he is one of the better high school arms in the 2021 class. He showcased an electric fastball, with a wipeout slider and a much improved changeup. He continues to be a bulldog on the mound with great composure and loves to compete.
