Jack Duffy, 1B/OF, 2019 (UCF)
Michael Dorso, OF/LHP, 2019 (SCF)

OUTLOOK
The Sarasota Sailors come into the 2020 season after losing a handful of talented seniors from a squad that went 20-9 last season in Jack Duffy (UCF), Michael Dorso (SCF), David Barrett (SCF), Owen Ayers (SCF), and Harrison Long (Jacksonville). However, they return several talented players from the sophomore-senior classes that will have a big impact on the team in 2020. Leading the way are two Florida State commits, Satchell Norman and Conner Whittaker. The tandem will be a crucial part to this team’s success both on the mound and at the plate in 2020. Rounding out their rotation is junior RHP Jaxson Crump. Offensively for Sarasota, they return seniors Jason Scott and Evan Gibbs, who will be asked to be the veteran leaders on a young squad. One of the more intriguing players on this team is sophomore Tanner Darley. He is one of the youngest players on the team and should make a big impact as the season goes. This Sarasota Sailors team will be a fun team to watch and we expect to see them have some playoff success in 2020.
