Scouting Report

08.06/17- The high-waisted, projectable 6-foot-2, 180 pound left handed pitcher struggled a bit with comand in his outing. Despite some of the command struggles, you can see what makes him extremely intriguing to colleges. The arm is extremely clean, and when he is not feeling for the strike zone, it works clean and easy with life on the fastball from 82-86 mph. He also shows the ability to throw a plus breaking ball and when in the zone is a swing and miss pitch. There is huge upside from the left side with an extremely projectable frame.

01/21/17- The 6-foot-1, 165 pound lean and athletic LHP also took batting practice in pregame and showed some gap to gap power at the plate and the ball jumps off his bat. Big arm. Medium arm swing and worked fastball 83-85 topping at 86 mph. This was a nice jump from the 80-82 mph in August at the Future Games. Clean and easy and worked entirely out of the stretch.  Worked a back-leg slider with tilt for strikes and also out of the zone at 67-68 mph.  Had some trouble with his release point, but will continue to get better and be a top end arm.  Still has a baby face and looks very young.  Needs to add strength, and when he does the velocity should continue to jump.

PBR Future Games- Threw well in his two innings vs. Team Missouri where his fastball sat 80-82 mph in his second inning where he struck out the side. He has a long limbs with a lean, projectable build standing at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds. Arm works well. Showed some polish by gathering himself and repeats his delivery. His curveball sat 66-67 mph with some shape. Works quickly and goes after hitters.
