Robby Martin.  A member of the PBR Florida 2017 All State Team, Martin hit .420 with 9 home runs and led all of FHSAA with 44 RBIs.  MArtin is an impact offensively while also contributing on the mound, going 4-4 with a 4.30 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 29.1 ip.

OUTLOOK
Jefferson comes into 2018  without the loss of any major contributor from the 2017 campaign that saw their run in in a 1-0 loss to Jesuit in the Regional Semi-Final.  The offense is led by a pair of Florida State recruits in Robby Martin and A.J. Mathis.  Transfer Charlie Welch will add even more offense to an already strong lineup and could be one of the top 3-4-5 combos in the state.  Ty Evans will also look to impact the lineup as well. On the mound, they are led by Jack Rodriguez, who went 6-2 with a 2.22 ERA in 2017. Michael Dominguez will also return after going 5-3 with 3 saves in 2017, rounded out by Robby Martin and Marc DeGusipe. The depth and return of nearly every significant player brings Jefferson in at No 19 in the Preseason Power25.
