OUTLOOK
With nine current committed players on the roster, North Broward is both talented and deep. Despite losing their top hitter and first round pick in the 2019 MLB Draft, Xavier Edwards, the Eagles are loaded with talent and experience on offense. Esquivel will look to lead the way in the middle of the order after batting .291 in 2018. Protecting Esquivel will be fellow senior Matthew Corlew and junior Dylan Goldstein. The Eagles will look to Sawyer Feller, sophomore Jonah Diaz and freshman Yoel Tejeda to step up and play roles in the offense. On the mound, Tomczack has made some huge strides this summer and spring and has elite level stuff, which could dominate at the top of the rotation. Junior Dusty Snyder won four games as a sophomore and will look to take the reigns alongside Tomczack. You can also look for Cogswell and Foss to make impacts on the mound as well. Talented, deep and experienced, North Broward Prep is primed for a state run in 2019.
