Displayed great direction and extension in the swing as he backspin balls to the opposite gap with frequency.
4-7, 2B, 3B, 6 runs
10/12/18 - Tulane commit. 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-handed outfielder looks the part with a long, lean athletic frame. There is present bat speed, but the path is steep at times and has some swing and miss. When he is level and on time, he showed gap to gap power. Defensively, he moves well and shows above average defensive potential and could stick in center.
09/17/16- The 6-foot, 160 pound shortstop has an extremely projectable, high-waisted frame. He tends to stand out defensively, even though there is some choppiness in his steps, he has a very quick first step and moves through the ball well with soft hands that work well out in front of his body. As he continues to get a feel for his body, the athleticism and first step quickness should translate into better footwork all around making him an above average middle infielder. At the plate, the right handed hitter has very quick hands through the zone but tends to cut himself off before getting full extension through the baseball. He also doesn’t get full use out of his lower half, but still showed his athleticism with a line drive triple to the left-center field gap and another single during the game play. As he learns to use his athleticism both offensively and defensively he will continue to get better and has a chance to be very good on both sides which makes him a high follow going forward.
05/28/16- Athletic shortstop with lean 5-foot-10, 155-pound frame. Showed first step quickness at shortstop, soft hands and an above average arm for his age at shortstop. Right-handed hitter, a little rotational at times occasionally creating some length in his swing, but when on time it was quick and direct. Hands work well, as he matures physically and develops body control bat path should get shorter.
