OUTLOOK
With a run to the regional finals under their belt in 2018, the eight Division 1 recruits, which includes six juniors and a sophomore, will look to lead the way to a state title in 2019. The Stallions return four of their top five hitters from 2018, led by Carmine Lane who batted .349 with four home runs and 20 RBIs and Jacob Lojewski, who led the team with six home runs and 25 RBIs in 2018. The pitching staff will be formidable, led by the same four power arms from 2018. Vespi, Lane, Berkwich and Ryan Bruno all logged over 25 innings in 2018. Vespi and Lane both had six wins while Bruno had four saves. The team ERA was 1.81 in 2018 and look to even improve upon that as all four have made big strides over the last year and can each dominate a game. A deep and talented roster, while young, has some experience and is ready for a run to the 4A State Title in 2019.
