2/11/19 - A lean and athletic 5-foot-11, 172 pounds. DeMartinis continues to make strides. Shown the ability to play multiple positions at an efficient level, but appears to be furthest along behind the plate. The athleticism plays as he is flexible with some twitch. Hands work and receiving will continue to improve with reps. Quick feet, quality transfer and a strong arm resulted in pop times ranging from 1.97-2.1. Offensively, he shows an ability to clear the backside, clearing the hands to work and stay in the zone. Hands work well and independently, quick through the zone, creating present bat speed and power. Had an exit velocity of 94 mph and all around has present tools with upside.

10/11/18- Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 172 pounds with an athletic frame and strong lower half. Still room to add more to the frame. The PBR Future Games participant has shown the ability to play multiple positions at an above average level and continued to do so throughout the event. From the outfield, he has a quick first step and surrounds the ball, getting behind all of his throws that are accurate and have plenty of carry, topping out at 88 mph which ended up being the highest outfield velocity of the event. Tracks the ball well ranging to his right and left. Behind the plate, he displayed the ability to get into an athletic setup with an above average arm behind the plate as well, topping out at 80 mph on his throws to the bag which was also the top catcher velocity of the event. Offensively, he shows a quick, compact swing and strong hands through the zone with a feel for the barrel, driving the ball gap-to-gap with authority. Consistently made hard contact during batting practice which was also shown in the cage where he registered a 92 mph exit velocity off the tee. DeMartinis has repeatedly has shown above average tools all over the field and will be a really quality addition to a program due to his athleticism and ability to play multiple positions at a high level.

08/04/18- The lean 5-foot-11, 172 pound OF/C has strength throughout the frame with present athleticism. He is a true utility player, he moves well in the outfield and throws had carry, topping out at 88 mph. Behind the plate, the athleticism plays well and is a solid defender. He also plays some infield and moves well and is a solid defender. Overall, he has an IQ for the game and is a player that can be a super utility guy, which will be very valuable to a club at the next level. Offensively, there is present bat speed and strength. He has bat to ball skills, with a fairly compact swing. He has gap to gap power and translated to an RBI single against the Carolina’s. He is a very athletic, super utility player whose bat will play at the next level.

06/23/18- A physical 5-foot-11, 160 pounds, he has broad shoulder and strength throughout the frame. One tool doesn’t jump out at you, but by the end of the day stood out in nearly every aspect. Stood out all over the field where he showed above average actions at multiple positions. Has natural instincts in the outfield, with range and a quick first step, making a nice diving play in the game. Also, showed solid actions a third in the game and tools behind the plate in the workout with a 2.03-2.09 pop times. Offensively, the wide base works with a strong lower half. Drive through the back side and has present strength in the wrists and seemingly flicks his wrists with strength at extension. There is a lot of versatility and offensive upside and overall a quality follow who will have multi-position value.
