OUTLOOK
Despite falling to eventual first round pick Mason Denaburg and Merritt Island in 2018, the 2019 American Heritage Patriots are just as talented and ready to make a run to a state title in 2019. Led by Ryan Cabarcas, who led the team as a junior with 11 wins. He struck out 89 in 65 innings pitched and also had a save. He competes and throws a lot of strikes with above average stuff and will look to lead the way on the mound.  The Patriots will also look to a pair of sophomore arms in Nick Anello and Devin Futrell to make an immediate impact. The offense returns four hitter who had 60 or more at-bats in 2018. Led by Enrique Bradfield, who is a spark plug at the top of the order and batted .390 with 20 stolen bases in 2018. The middle of the order will be bolstered by Gavin Casas who batted .397 with 3 home runs and 21 RBIs and Matt Ruiz who batted .342 with 21 RBIs in 2018. Currently eight Division 1 recruits, with easily a handful more on the roster, there is both talent and depth with enough experience to make a deep run in 2019.
