Update Florida Class of 2022 Rankings

With the Holidays quickly approaching, we begin to update all four classes of our Florida High School rankings, starting with the Class of 2022. As the freshman head to Christmas break in high school and prepare to play their first high school spring, several have already made an impact and shown their present talent and big upside in the summer and fall of 2018.

With this update, we have expanded the list to 100 players, which includes three new players to the top 10.  Jordan Taylor comes in at No 3, as he made a big time impression on North Florida Scouting Director Phil Kerber at the Florida Dodgers Scout Day, showing true two way potential, running his fastball up to 86 mph, bug offensive upside and all around high end tools. Ryan Fry now comes in at No 6 after making a big impression at the Ostingers Camp, where he showed a clean, easy arm action, working up to 85 and showing an above average curveball. FInally William Ross, who is committed to Florida, stood out this fall with his physical frame and heavy fastball up to 86 mph.

Overall, the talent is evident again and the list is ever evolving as these players have a lot of time to mature and continue to grow. While it is not necessary to attend an event to be ranked, as we aim to be your No 1 source of high school baseball coverage throughout the year, it does give you the opportunity to get in front of our staff and receive a full profile an evaluation.
