2013 Underclass Spotlight: Tanner Tully, Elkhart Central HS

PBR: As you enter your junior year in high school, where are you currently in the recruiting process?

Tully:  I visited a few schools this past fall and winter, and I am still in the middle of it all, trying to keep in touch by emails as much as possible. 

PBR: What are your expectations for the recruiting process?

Tully:  I like how the recruiting process is going  and I hope to make a decision in the near future.

PBR: What level of baseball do you see yourself playing at the next level?

Tully:  I see myself playing at the highest level of ball I can play. Hopefully division 1.

PBR: What schools are you most interested in right now, and why?

Tully:  I have liked all the schools I have been to and I am deciding what is the best fit for me. 

PBR: What aspect of your game do you believe needs the most improvement?

Tully:  I want to improve my changeup the most.

PBR: What are your personal goals for the upcoming 2012 season?

Tully:  My goals this season are to do better than my sophomore season, to keep improving and to have fun.

PBR: What are your high school team goals for the upcoming 2012 season?

Tully:  Our  high school team goals are to win as many games as possible, play as a team, Sectional title and to go further than we did last year.

PBR: What team do you play for in the summer?

Tully:  I play  for the Indiana Chargers in the summer.

PBR: What is your fondest memory or highlight from your 2011 baseball season (High School or Summer)?

Tully:  Probably my fondest memory of the 2011 season was hitting a grand slam and a three run homerun in the Sectional championship game.

PBR: What were your stats for your 2011 HS season?  Summer Season?

Tully:  My pitching stats last season for Elkhart Central: Pitching, 66.1 IP, 77 K, 46 Hits given up, .09 ERA and  Hitting, BA .429, 38 RBI, 39 Hits, HR 9

PBR: What is your GPA? ACT or SAT score? If you have not taken it do you have a planned date?

Tully:  G.P.A is 3.0 and I  just took the SAT a few weeks ago.

PBR: Have you decided on a major or narrowed it down?

Tully:  I am currently thinking about two majors and they are Education or Sports Administration.
