The Wapahani Raiders are the defending 2A State Champions and with Kentucky commit Zack Thompson returning for his Junior year, the Raiders are once again one of the 2A favorites to reach Victory Field in June.  Thompson, a 6-foot-2, 190 pound southpaw, went 13-0 on the mound as a sophomore with an ultra-impressive 0.64 ERA and 152 Ks.  Returning at SS is 6-foot-3, 180 pound Junior Hayden Castor who hit .460 with 6 2Bs and 3 HRs last season.  Junior catcher Grant Thompson returns after hitting .318 with 7 2Bs and HR as a sophomore.  Head Coach Brian Dudley will also look to Grant for contributions on the mound.  Other players Dudley will rely on this spring are seniors Hunter Stanley (.318 BA) and Jared Coats along with Junior Taylor Shroyer (a transfer from Muncie Central).
