2016 Player Spotlight: Mitchell Garrity, Perry Meridian HS

With the 2016 Underclass Preview Showcase coming up on October 18th, we are highlighting some of the top 2016 players in the Hoosier State.

Mitchell Garrity is an athletic 6-foot, 175 pound Junior out of Perry Meridian High School.  A member of Team Indiana at this year's Future Games, Garrity is a strong competitor with arm strength and speed. He's been clocked running a 6.81 60 at a PBR event earlier this year as well as throwing 88 mph from the outfield with carry and accuracy.  In the field he shows athletic actions with soft hands and clean exchange. Offensively, the left-handed hitter uses a short stride with a smooth load producing quick bat speed.  He registered a 91 mph exit velo at the Future Games workout in August.  He consistently produces hard hit line drives with the ability to drive the gaps.  Garrity is a "gamer" that consistently plays the game hard.
