Lebanon, ranked No. 5 in 3A, traveled to Brebeuf Friday night trying to overcome two losses in a row to conference rival Frankfort, but ten lead changes and a bottom of the 7th run gave Brebeuf a 7-6 victory at home under the lights. The back and forth game saw runs in all but six frames as the Braves of Brebeuf Jesuit upped their record to 8-3 on the season.

The scoring started early as the home side took a one run advantage as Ben Powell lined a single to left scoring Clay Farren. Lebanon's Coty Edwards moved his side in front with two outs in the top of the second with a double to right and two RBI. The score evened up in the bottom half as Quinn Kinkel crossed the plate on an infield error.

Knotted up 3-3 in the bottom of the third, Brebeuf got runs on a single by Jake Scott and a bases loaded walk by Kinkely to take a two run advantage into the fourth. The offense did not slow down, however, as Colton Ranney and Caleb Myers helped give Lebanon the advantage, 6-5. The bottom half saw Eric Petruzzi single and tie the game up at six.

The home side of the seventh brought drama back into the game as Brebeuf's Jake Scott singled and moved to second on a sac bunt by Adam Iffert. Clay Farren's single to left gave the Braves the win as a strong throw was unable to cut down the winning run. Braves 7 Tigers 6.

Spencer Martin pitched a complete game for the home side giving up just three earned runs and striking out four. Lebanon's fleet of Jackson Bland, Wyatt Giesler, and Isaac Harker struckout six and allowed just four earned runs.

At the plate for Brebeuf, Clay Farren and Jake Scott were each 2-4 with an RBI. Farren, Powell, and Iffert each recorded a stolen base. Lebanon was led offensively by Coty Edwards who went 2-3 with two RBI and a double. Isaac Harker was also 2-3 with a double.
