No. 6 Lake Central 8 Michigan City 3 – Zach Turnbough tripled for the 13th time this year setting a new state record for Indiana, he finished 2-4 with two RBI and a run. Alex Nisle homered and drove in two, Jack Kuehner was 2-3 with a double and two RBI, Steven Meyer was 2-4 with two runs, and Jarrett Lopez was 1-4 with a RBI. Jake Wisniewski got the win throwing five shutout innings allowing four hits, striking out four. 

No. 24 Lawrence Central 9 No. 7 Lawrence North 1 – Matt Burleton threw a no hitter to get the win allowing one unearned run, one walk, and striking out nine. Kenny Ogg was 3-4 with a RBI and two runs, Kevin Cox was 2-4 with a RBI, Jarrett Montgomery homered and drove in two, and Dre Davis was 1-4 with a RBI. Ernie Harshman and Brian Haas each scored twice. 

No. 8 Zionsville 7 No. 23 Avon 5 – Nick Prather was 2-4 with two RBI, Grant Sloan hit a solo homerun, Jacob Hurd was 3-4 with a RBI, Jacob Hurtubise was 2-3 with two runs, and Kellan Elsbury was 1-3 with a double and a run. Prather got the win throwing five innings allowing three earned runs. 

No. 9 Westfield 4 Fishers 2 – Westfield scored all four runs in the top of the seventh to get the win. Bailey Partlow hit a solo homerun to start the innings, Jacob Robinson doubled in a run to tie the game, and Jackson Garrett had a two run single to put Westfield in the lead for good. Noah Shanteau threw five innings allowing two runs on six hits and Jackson Bard threw a perfect six to get the win. 

No. 10 McCutcheon 4 HSE 1 – Kolin McCord threw a complete game to get the win allowing one hit and one unearned run, striking out five. Brady Douglas doubled and drove in two, Sean Roginski was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, and Braden Giroux was 1-2 with a run. 

SB Clay No. 11 Penn 5 

No. 12 Terre Haute South 13 Sullivan 2 – Ryen Millsap was 2-2 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, Timmy Herrin was 1-2 with a double and two RBI, Jared Wolfe was 3-5 with a double and two runs, Conner Brown was 1-1 with a double and two RBI, and Trey McCue was 2-4 with two runs. 

No. 14 Crown Point 6 Merrillville 3 – Mike Wathier threw 5.2 shutout innings to get the win allowing two hits and striking out four. Mitchell Kooi homered and drove in two, Geoff Kozlowski was 1-3 with two RBI, Mark Mazure doubled and drove in a run, and Charlie Patrick was 1-2 with a double and two runs.

No. 17 Brownsburg 11 No. 19 Noblesville 4 – Anthony Travelsted was 2-3 with a homerun, two RBI, and three runs, Brooks Bireley was 2-4 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Owen Gilbert was 1-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Brad Gullinger was 1-3 with a RBI, Jacson McGowan was 2-3 with a double and three runs, and Caleb Sampen was 2-4 with a run. Sampen got the win throwing four innings allowing three earned runs and struck out four. 

No. 18 Evansville North 10 Evansville Mater Dei 4 

No. 21 LaPorte 5 Valpo 1 – Jake Teets got the win throwing a complete game allowing one run on six hits, striking out six. Brogan Briggs was 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Juan Frias Silfa doubled and drove in a run, and Jordan Fadke was 1-3 with a RBI.

 

3A Top 10

No. 3 Crawfordsville 14 Southmont 1 – Trent Johnson had a big game going 4-4 with a double, grand slam, five RBI, and four runs scored. Michael Minks was 2-3 with a homerun and three RBI, Caden Jones was 1-3 with a homerun, two RBI, and two runs, Sam Page was 3-4 with two RBI, and Dane Baldwin was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs. Chase Dowell got the win throwing all five innings allowing one run on five hits, striking out seven. 

No. 5 Silver Creek 9 Scottsburg 5 – Bradley Grimes got the win throwing 5.2 innings allowing two hits, two unearned runs, and struck out seven. Michael Feeler was 1-3 with three RBI, Cody Rzer was 1-4 with three RBI and two runs, Cameron Cook was 3-3 with two runs, Sam Hartsock was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, Brahm Whittinghill was 1-3 with two runs, and Logan Murphy was 1-4 with a RBI. 

No. 6 Hanover Central 1 Hammond Morton 0 F/9 – Daniel Balich threw eight shutout innings allowing one hit and striking out five and Riley Welch threw one inning to get the win. Dylan Knutsen drove in the winning run and Jesse Wilkening was 2-4 with a double. 

No. 7 Leo 13 Bluffton 2 

No. 8 West Vigo 3 Clay City 2 – West Vigo scored all three of their runs in the third inning. Wyatt Lowe got the win. 

No. 9 Charlestown 7 Brownstown Central 1 – Kelly Rider got the win throwing a complete game allowing one run on two hits, striking out four. Colin Martin was 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Zach Ramirez was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, Devon Krueger and Jason Houchens each went 1-2 with a RBI, and Drew Reich had a double, RBI, and a run.

No. 1 Knightstown 4 Centerville 3 

Cardinal Ritter 4 No. 4 Lapel 2 – Blake Malatestinic struck out 12 in a complete game win, allowing two runs on three hits. Kyle Matter was 3-4 with a RBI and a run, Brian Bacon was 1-1 with two runs, Alex Vela was 1-3 with a run, Tommy Waites doubled, and Malatestinic and Griffin Miller had a RBI. 

Rossville 8 No. 6 Pioneer 7 

No. 8 Cass 6 Peru 2 – Stover went 2-3 with three RBI, Zeck was 2-4 with a RBI, Carden doubled and scored, Bixler was 1-3 with a run, and Wilburn scored twice. Rankert got the win throwing 5.2 innings allowing two runs on five hits, striking out five.

Batesville 3 Franklin County 1 – Bryan Hoeing struck out 11 in a complete game, allowing four hits and one unearned run. Connor Schuck was 2-4 with a double and a RBI, Wyatt Schebler was 3-4 with a double and a run, and Jacob Wilson was 1-3 with a double, RBI, and two runs. 

Benton Central 3 Frontier 0 – Sam Smith threw a complete game shutout in the win, allowing three hits and striking out six. Jake Matson was 1-3 with a double, RBI, and a run and Smith was 1-3 with a double and a run. 

Bishop Dwenger 6 FW Wayne 4 – Noah Friemuth homered and drove in two runs, Jack Harris was 2-2 with a double, RBI, and a run, Justin Wagoner as 1-2 with a double and a RBI, Zack Norton was 1-3 with a double and a run, and Cameron Kahlenbeck and Skyler Noll each went 1-3 with a run.

Delphi 4 North White 0 – Ostin Clark homered and drove in three, Weston Windell was 1-2 with a RBI, Brant Hawn was 2-4 with a run, and Blaine Walter was 1-2 with two runs. Mason Lane threw a complete game shutout allowing four hits and striking out one. 

East Chicago Central 7 Gary West Side 2 – Dairon Edmond was 1-1 with a triple, two RBI, and two runs, Carlos Flores was 1-3 with a triple and two RBI, Damien Davis was 1-3 with two RBI, and Edwin Rosado was 1-1 with two runs. 

Edgewood 11 Greencastle 0 – Connor Morton got the win throwing four shutout innings allowing three hits and struck out five. Trevor Moore and Ryan Newman went 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Phillip Terrell and Ryan Pursell went 1-2 with two RBI and a run, and Zach Harrison was 2-3 with a run. 

Hauser 5 Edinburgh 2 – Rory Thayer got the win throwing 5.2 innings allowing two unearned runs, four hits, and struck out nine. Nathan Branum was 1-3 with two RBI, Thayer was 2-2 with two runs, Will Rose and Dalton McKinney each had a RBI, and Brooks Bailey scored twice. 

Lafayette Harrison 12 Carmel 5 – Carter Bridge was 3-4 with a double, triple, five RBI, and a run, Matt McConnell was 2-3 with a double, triple, two RBI, and three runs, Evan Francis was 2-2 with a double and three runs, and Matt Roop was 1-2 with a RBI and two runs. Houston Switzer got the win throwing 2.1 shutout innings allowing two hits. 

Lakeland 11 Fremont 3 – Erik Mellinger was 4-5 with three runs, Dylan Pranger was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Kaleb Wadsworth was 1-2 with two RBI and a run, Nolan Isaacs was 1-2 with RBI, and Derrick Dunn was 1-4 with a RBI and a run. Pranger got the win throwing six innings allowing four hits, two unearned run, and struck out nine. 

Lebanon 3 Danville 2 F/9 – Jackson Bland led Lebanon in the win. In the top of the ninth he hit a two run single to give them the lead, he also threw all nine innings allowing one unearned run, four hits, and struck out 13. Zack Dafoe was 2-3 with a run. 

Mt. Vernon 12 Guerin Catholic 7 – Zach Spears was 3-4 with two homeruns and five RBI, Noah Powell was 3-4 with a double, triple, RBI, and two runs, Wyatt Vestal was 3-4 with two RBI and two runs, Tyler Franklin was 3-4 with a RBI, Braydon Augustinwicz was 1-3 with two RBI and a run, Christian Smith was 2-4 with two runs, and Max Wills was 1-5 with a RBI and two runs. 

Morgan Township 12 West Central 2 – Jake Koselke was 1-3 with four RBI and two runs, Zach Bromel was 3-3 with two RBI, Jake Sutton was 1-2 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Robbie Schneider was 4-4 with a double and three runs, Jacob Hernandez was 3-4 with a RBI and three runs, and Connor Martin was 2-3 with a RBI and a run. 

New Palestine 9 Franklin Central 7 – Wes McBride was 2-3 with four RBI, Evan Hickman was 2-5 with a double and two RBI, Zach Lovell was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and a run, Andy Edwards was 1-2 with a RBI and two runs, and Jason Hall-Manley was 2-5 with a run. Cody Chandler got the win in relief throwing three innings allowing three hits, one unearned run, and struck out two. 

Norwell 3 Homestead 1 – Alex Hunter got the win throwing a complete game allowing one run on seven hits, striking out five. Ryan Tomlin was 1-3 with a RBI, Brody Myers and Reggie Hayes each went 1-3 with a run, and James Spera and Zach Kintz each had a RBI. 

Owen Valley 12 South Putnam 9 – Chase Roberts homered and drove in four, Hunter Sturgeon was 2-4 with two RBI and two runs, Lane Trimble was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Bo Elliot was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Ryne Heckman was 3-3 with a double and a run, and Parker Roberts was 1-4 with a RBI and a run. 

Prairie Heights 4 Fairfield 3 F/10 – After Fairfield scored two in the top of the 10th, PH scored three in the bottom. Tanner Perkins hit a walk off single to get PH the win, Tyler Christman was 3-5 with a run, Kenyon Helmuth was 1-4 with a RBI, and Chandler Sailor had a RBI. Mike Gustin struck out 13 throwing the first eight innings allowing one run on six hits, Jacob Heller threw the final two innings to get the win. 

South Adams 14 Adams Central 5 – Chandler Ingle was 3-4 with a grand slam, five RBI, and two runs, Jayden Dull was 2-3 with two doubles, four RBI, and three runs, Skylar Schoch hit a solo homerun, and Justin Nussbaum was 2-3 with a double and three RBI. Ingle threw six innings to get the win on the mound allowing four earned runs. 

Twin Lakes 7 Rensselaer Central 2 – Dane Holmes struck out 11 in a complete game win allowing five hits and two unearned runs. Holmes was 2-4 with two RBI, Evan Luzadder was 3-5 with a run, Rese Shireman was 1-4 with two RBI and a run, Anthony Reyes was 2-4 with two runs, Spencer Andrews was 1-3 with a RBI, and Bailey Rothrock doubled and scored twice. 

Washington 10 North Knox 4 – Jake Bedwell was 4-5 with three doubles, two RBI, and three runs, Billy Fleetwood was 4-6 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Michael Ramsey was 1-2 with two RBI, and Nick Gray was 1-3 with a double, RBI, and a run. Ramsey got the win throwing a complete game allowing three earned runs. 

Wheeler 8 Whiting 4 – Jake LaFever was 3-4 with a triple, RBI, and two runs, Jacob Armentrout went 2-4 with a RBI and a run, Jordan Saager was 2-3 with two RBI, and Sam Bolla had a RBI and a run scored. LaFever got the win striking out 12 in six innings allowing three earned runs and five hits. 

Whitko 12 North Miami 5 – Zach Snep was 2-4 with a double, triple, three RBI, and a run, Landen Goff hit a homerun, Tanner Hughes was 2-5 with a double, RBI, and a run, Riley Anderson was 3-3 with two runs, Tanner Gaff was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, and Drew Bradford was 2-3 with a RBI and two runs. Snep got the win throwing four innings allowing four runs on five hits.
