Grant Sawa, C, Center Grove HS, 2023
Uncommitted 2023. 5-foot-10, 175 pound frame with above average strength and athleticism. At the plate, Sawa starts in a balanced setup, using a quiet load and small leg lift. Showed the ability to use the whole field. Gap-to-gap approach. Behind the dish, Sawa showed some flexibility in his setup and moved well laterally. Quick transfer on throws to 2B. 1.97 pop between innings. Finished the night 2 for 3 with a 2B and a BB.

Garrison Barile, OF, Center Grove HS, 2023
Miami (OH) commit. Physical, 6-foot-2 200 pound frame. Barile hit from a wider, balanced stance. High back elbow, smooth load, with the intent to do damage in the box. Very good bat speed. Showed more of a pull side approach tonight with 2 hits that way, including a 3B in the LCF gap. Good runner.

Tyler Cerny, SS, Center Grove HS, 2022
Indiana signee. Long, athletic 6-foot-2 frame. Hits from a tall stance, using a small leg kick type stride. Gap-to-gap approach, aggressive early in the count. Showed some opposite field pop by going off the RCF wall to leadoff the game. Plays light on his feet in the infield, with a consistent tempo, and a strong arm across the diamond. Cerny was a catalyst for the Trojan offense tonight, finishing 2 for 4 with a 2B and a BB.

Will Boyer, RHP, Columbus East HS, 2023
Uncommitted 2023 RHP. Stocky, 5-foot-10 frame. Good tempo throughout the delivery, taller balance point, with a slight inward turn. Sat 82-85 with his fastball, but used a good 71-73  slurvey type breaking ball to get soft contact. Good feel for command, especially with the breaking ball. Boyer was composed with runners on base, working himself out of a couple jams against a good CG offense.

Harry Major, SS, Columbus East HS, 2022
Jackson JC recruit. Lean, athletic 5-foot-11 frame. Leadoff type. Catalyst for the Columbus East offense. At the dish, used a balanced setup, a short, handsy type load, and a flat bat path. Line drive approach. Major finished the night 1 for 4 with an RBI, but had two hits taken from him on liners to CF. In the infield, showed quick feet and sure hands, handling a couple hot shots at SS with ease.
