Scouting Report

 

2/23/2019: Austin Brewer, OF/3B, Snider HS, 2021, 5 foot 10, 183 pounds, hits from a balanced setup and uses controlled leg lift and good separation move to launch. Barrel gets on plane early and has quick bat speed with a max exit velo of 92 mph. Austin also ran a 6.84 and threw 90 mph from the outfield with good footwork and release.

8/3/18: 5-foot-10, 183 pound frame, athletic-strong build. Right-handed hitter hits from an athletic setup, small leg kick timing trigger, smooth load. Strong use of his lower half. Uphill swing path with quick bat speed. Generates lift at contact, hard contact to his pull-side. High exit velocity of 92 off the tee. Ran a 6.68-60.  Solid defender, 84mph outfield arm.

3/3/18: 5-foot-9, 180 pound outfielder displayed loose, quick hands in the box.  Good balance, fluid rhythm.  Line drive approach.   Potential power.  Created lots of hard contact. High exit velocity of 81.  In the outfield, hands are above average with a clean, quick exchange.  Moves well laterally.   Throws topped 84 from a long, loose arm action.  Very athletic all around the field.  High follow.
