PBR: Ultimately why did you choose Rose Hulman?

Casey: I decided on Rose-Hulman because it is a school that can offer me an excellent education as well as the opportunity to continue my baseball career.

PBR: Where did Rose Hulman first see you compete?

Casey: Rose-Hulman first saw me compete at an Indiana State showcase in October.

PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play when you first arrive on campus?

Casey: The coaches expect me to work hard and compete for playing time when I arrive on campus.

PBR: When did you take your first visit to Rose Hulman?

Casey: I took my first visit to Rose-Hulman on October 31st.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Casey: The only other school I was considering to play baseball at was Marian.

PBR: You play for the Indiana Mustangs in the summer, how has playing with them helped you develop as a baseball player?

Casey: They helped me develop as a player because of the competitiveness and talent of the other kids on the team. I got the opportunity to catch some great arms. Also Coach Ayers helped me develop as a player due to his experience playing pro ball.

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?

Casey: My dad has had the biggest impact on my as a baseball player because of all the hours he has put in to throw batting practice to me or help me develop as a player.

Casey: As a team we want to play in the city championship, win our sectional, and compete past that in the post-season. Personally, I want to bat above .350, lead the team in extra base hits and runs batted in and throw out 75% of the kids that try to steal a base.

PBR : What were your stats last spring at Chatard?
