Super 60: Quick Glance at the Statistical Performances of Indiana Players

The 12th Annual Super 60 Pro Showcase took place on Sunday at The Max in McCook, IL in front of a packed house of pro scouts.  A total of 69 players from 11 states participated in the event, including nine players from Indiana. Below we take a quick look at the statistical performance of each Indiana participant. 

Nolan Watson, the only 2015 from Indiana to participate, showcased why he's a top 5 player in his class. The MWFG MVP from last summer was 91 mph from the OF, the second highest OF velocity at the event. On the mound, the Vanderbilt commit was also 91 mph with his fastball, tied for the fourth highest recorded fastball velo.  His curveball sat 69-71, and showcased to be a plus pitch.  

+ Gage Rogers, ranked No. 9 in Indiana's 2014 class, was up to 90 mph from the OF, tied for 4th best. The High Point commit was in the Top 25 overall in fastest 60 times, posting a 6.89.  On the mound Rogers was up to 89 mph with his fastball, the 6th highest fastball velo at the Super 60.  

+ University of Cincinnati commit,  Treg Haberkorn, finished in the top 25 in 60 times with a 6.89.  The LHP was up to 89 mph with his fastball and was 87 from the OF.  Haberkorn is currently ranked No. 6 in Indiana's 2014 class. 

+ Tre Gantt, ranked No. 8 in the 2014 class, ran the quickest 60 time of any Indiana player, posting a 6.65. His 6.65 ranked as the fifth quickest time at the Super 60.  From the OF the Ohio State commit was 87 mph.

+ Larry Crisler, an Indiana University commit, was impressive throughout the day running a 6.68 60 and posting a 95 mph exit velo, which registered as the fourth highest exit velo at the Super 60.  Crisler is currently ranked No. 18 in the 2014 class. 

Zach McKinstry, ranked No. 7 in the 2014 class, was in the top 25 in 60 times with a 6.89.  The Central Michigan commit also impressed in the INF where he was 87 mph across the diamond, ranked as the fourth highest velo for infielders.  

+ Indiana University commit Logan Sowers finished in the top 25 in 60 times with a 6.81.  The top ranked OF in Indiana's 2014 class was 84 from the OF and posted a 90 mph exit velo, the ninth highest recorded exit velo at the Super 60.  

Alec Olund, the No. 10 ranked player in the 2014 class and Purdue commit, was in the top 4 in highest recorded OF velo's at the Super 60 at 90 mph.  Olund was also 83 mph from the INF and registered an 80 mph exit velo.  

Butler University commit, Garrett Christman, is currently ranked No. 14 in Indiana's 2014 class. Christman had a solid day overall at the Super 60, posting a 60 time of 7.37 and was 78 across the diamond. Christman consistently barreled up the baseball and registered an exit velo of 82 mph.
