Team Indiana : Position Player Preview

The premier scouting event of the summer, the Futures Games, is set to take place from July 26 through July 29th at LakePoint in Emerson, GA. The Futures Games will feature the top uncommitted talent from all over the country, specifically from the class of 2025 with a select group of 2026 prospects. 

Team Indiana features a strong group of high-end, uncommitted position players, many that have already garnered the interest of college coaches.

Infielders

Team Indiana will be headlined by a very talented group of infielders. 2025 1B/OF Davian Carrera (Boone Grove) will be one of the top hitters of the group. The physical, 6-foot-3, 195 pound left-handed hitter swings a heavy barrel and will show off his big power potential in the middle of the Team Indiana lineup. Carrera will also hop on the mound for Team Indiana and should run his fastball into the upper-80s from the left-side. 2025 SS Huston Dunn (Fishers) has been a hot-name over the past few weeks after having a massive summer and will look to carry that momentum into the Future Games. Dunn possesses a very rare profile - a 6-foot-2, 190 pound infielder that can pick it on the dirt, along with offering both barrel accuracy and strength within a simple, left-handed swing. 2025 SS Trevor Corbett (Noblesville) has established a reputation as one of the toughest-outs in the 2025 class and will look to showcase his hit-tool for Team Indiana. The 6-foot, 180 pound infielder offers quality bat-to-ball skills, along with an arm that has been up to 91 mph across the diamond. 2025 SS Joe Washburn (South Bend Saint Joseph) is a hard-nosed, high-motor type player with advanced foot-speed (4.1 - 4.2 H-1st). The 5-foot-8, 160 pound left-handed hitter is a top-of-the-order type bat that also offers quick feet & range in the middle of the diamond. 2025 SS/3B Xavier Carrera (Boone Grove) will likely make some noise during the showcase workout, boasting one of the most impressive overall toolsets on the roster. The 6-foot-3, 190 pound infielder has an electric right-arm that will be showcased on both sides of the ball, up to 92 mph across the diamond & 90 mph on the mound at our Preseason All-State in March. Along with the advanced arm strength, expect Carrera to post near - 100 mph EV’s at the plate along with plenty of athleticism for his size (6.90 60). 2026 SS Gannon Grant (Center Grove) joins the squad as a two-way talent, offering a fastball up to 89 mph, along with some of the most fluid defensive actions of any uncommitted shortstop in the state. The 6-foot-1, 170 pounder has the chance to grow into power at the plate, along with more foot-speed, as he continues to mature and is an exciting up-and-coming prospect in the 2026 class. 2026 SS Dylan Bowen (Hanover Central) is one of the top overall players in Indiana’s 2026 class and a rising star with a chance to be a very special talent. The 5-foot-11, 180 pounder is an elite athlete with impactful foot-speed and the potential to stick at SS long-term. Bowen’s athleticism shines in all facets of his game, offering ultra-quick hands at the dish along with graceful feet and confident hands in the dirt.
