2017 TEAM PREVIEW: Borden Braves

• Lucas McNew, C/SS/RHP, 2018: .544 BA, 11 2B, 3 3B, 6 HR, 29 RBI, 18 SB, 7-2, 2.20 ERA, 89 Ks
• Brandon, Thompson, LHP/OF, 2017 

Outlook: Coach Stotts and his Borden Braves hope for another competitive year in 2017. The Braves have made it to the sectional finals each of the last two seasons. They return eight daily starters and a couple of arms, so they will have experience. Leading the team is Junior Lucas McNew, a multi-position athlete currently ranked No. 61 in Indiana's 2018 class. Look for Borden to compete once again for conference and sectional titles. cas mc
