The Hotlist: 2015 Draft Prospects To Watch

By Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

The 2014 draft is over, which means it is time to start looking ahead to 2015. The summer showcase season is underway and plenty of prospects will be under the microscope of scouts for the next 12 months. To get you started, we’ve put together an alphabetical list of prospects from some of the states in PBR’s coverage area that should be watched closely.

John Aiello, SS, Germantown Academy, PA
A Wake Forest recruit, Aiello was the starting shortstop for Germantown Academy as a freshman and has played for a Team USA national team three times already. He has a rangy, projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds. He shows good rhythm and bat speed from both sides of the plate and consistently makes good, hard contact. He also has a plus arm from shortstop.
