As we are coming to the end of another calendar year, we are going to countdown the top ten most viewed Indiana player profiles of 2014. According to our research through our google analytics, these are the most viewed profiles by you the reader in 2014.
4. Brandon Murray
Brandon Murray, a right-handed pitcher from Hobart High School, was the fourth most viewed player in Indiana for 2014. The 6-foot-4, 200 pounder finished his high school career ranked No. 1 in Indiana's class of 2014 rankings and No. 15 in PBR's overall 2014 rankings. Signed to play at South Carolina, Murray was also drafted in June's first year player draft by the Phillies in the 30th round. Murray finished his high school career throwing a complete-game win against Penn in the Regional semi-final, striking out eight and allowing just two hits.
SCOUTING REPORT
Projectable 6-foot-4, 200 pound righty with an athletic frame. Mechanically still needs refined, but possesses tons of arm strength. High 3/4-to over-the-top slot. Fastball easily sits in the 92-93 range, bumping up to 95 mph. Possesses two breaking balls; slider with good depth and bite and a curve ball with sweep action. Signed to play at the University of South Carolina.
