Unsigned Senior Spotlight: Jordan Young, RHP/1B, McCutcheon HS

Today's Unsigned Senior Spotlight is on 2012 Midwest Future Games participant, Jordan Young, a a 6-foot-2, 210 pound RHP/1B out of McCutcheon HS.
The No. 49 ranked player in Indiana's 2014 class possesses wide shoulders, with a big, athletic frame. On the mound, Young works at a quick pace with a repeatable delivery. He throws from a high 3/4 arm action. His fastball sits 84-86 mph with some late run. The RHP shows an 11/5 curve ball with late movement at 72-74 mph, and a 73-75 mph changeup with arm side run.
Across the diamond, Young shows good arm strength at 82 mph. He works well around the bag with soft hands, and has an overall advanced feel for the position.
At the plate Young shows quick bat speed (93 mph exit velo) with fluid rhythm. He gets to extension with a level path to the baseball, producing gap to gap power.
